"Circle of Grace": Youth Faith Formation for First Two Weeks
Parents & students,
First, we would like to thank you for your patience with Faith Formation this year.
We will spend the first two weeks of our program this year teaching the Circle of Grace program. This program is a part of our ongoing effort to help children & youth understand their own dignity & self-worth; to help create & maintain a safe environment for children & youth; and to give children, youth, & parents the tools to protect our most vulnerable ones from sexual abuse.
The lessons are all age-appropriate, and they are intended to supplement the parents' rightful role as first teachers of the faith.
We will begin these lessons next Sunday, October 4th with grades 1st - 6th at 9:30 am.
Grades 1st, 2nd, & 3rd will meet in the church and grades 4th, 5th, & 6th in the parish hall.
Grades 7-12 will meet the following Sunday, October 11th at 9:30 am.
Grades 7th and 8th will meet in the church.
Grades 10th and 11th will meet in the parish hall, and 11th and 12th grade in the youth room.
Social distancing, of course, will be practiced. If you do not wish for your child to meet in person, there are lessons available for you to teach your child at home. If you need these lessons or have any questions, contact the parish office.
If you have not registered your child for Faith Formation yet, you may pick up a registration form in the Narthex of the Church or in the parish office. Again, thank you for your patience.
