Saint Pope John Paul II said that Altar Servers are “ . . . servants of Jesus Christ, the eternal high priest.  Therefore, you are called in a particular way to be young friends of Jesus.”

All boys and girls in grades 2 through 12 who are members of St. John Catholic Church and who have received the sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, & First Holy Communion are invited to participate as Altar Servers at the Saturday, Sunday, weekday and Holy Day Masses.

Training is REQUIRED for every NEW server, but experienced alter servers are also welcome to refresh skills and learn new positions.  All NEW altar servers entering training sessions, 2nd grade and up, must attend one training session. Mr. Doug Barborek is the director of this ministry. All sessions are conducted in the church. Our next alter server training is TBA. Parents must attend.

Altar Server Schedule:

Due to COVID-19, there will be no Altar Servers needed at Masses.

If your child cannot serve a mass that he or she is signed up for, please contact the parish office ASAP!
