Important Announcements

Lenten Reminders:
Ash Wednesday & Good Friday are obligatory days of Fasting. The law of fasting allows one full meal and two smaller ones. The law of fasting obliges all between the ages of 18-59.
Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and all the Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence in the United States. The law of abstinence prohibits the eating of meat. The obligation of abstinence begins at age 14.
Pastors and parents are to see to it that minors, though not bound by the law of fast and abstinence, are educated in the authentic sense of penance and encouraged to do acts of penance suitable to their age.
All members of the Christian faithful are encouraged to do acts of penance and charity beyond what is prescribed by the law.

Located in the main church. This Friday's stations are presented by St. John Catholic School. A Lenten meal will follow in the parish hall. The meal will be prepared by the School PTO.

Ladies, join us at St. Joseph's in Conway fro the next Magnificat Meal on Saturday, March 14 from 10:00 a.m.m - 1:00 p.m. Magnificat is a Catholic woman-to-woman ministry. Our speaker will be Patti Drake, co-founder of Miracles for Mary, Inc. a foundation that helps families coping with traumatic brain injury.
